makeQReasy – Terms & Conditions

makeQReasy is a free QR generation and management platform owned and operated by EIGHTY SIX CODE DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION IN COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND PROGRAMS – L.L.C in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

By using makeQReasy, creating an account, or generating QR codes through the platform, you agree to the Terms set out below. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.

1. Service Description

makeQReasy allows users to create, customize, download, and manage QR codes.

Features include:

  • QR generation (URLs, Wi-Fi, vCard, text, events, etc.)
  • Custom styling (shapes, colors, frames, logos, eye styles)
  • Download formats (SVG, PNG, PDF)
  • Optional account-based saving + analytics

makeQReasy is completely free to use — no subscription, payment, or billing.

2. License Grant

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use makeQReasy.

You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, or duplicate access to the platform
  • Copy, clone, reverse-engineer, or replicate the system structure or code
  • Create derivative or competing software using makeQReasy's architecture

We reserve the right to revoke access if Terms are violated.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

The platform may be used by users of all ages, including students and organizations.

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration details
  • Keep login credentials secure
  • Accept responsibility for actions performed under your account

makeQReasy is not responsible for breaches caused by weak password practices.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You may use QR codes for personal or commercial purposes.

You may NOT use makeQReasy to generate or distribute QR codes linked to:

  • Malware, viruses, phishing, fraud, or scams
  • Illegal, abusive, defamatory, or hateful content
  • Pornographic, sexually explicit, or disallowed material
  • Identity theft, unauthorized data capture, or impersonation
  • Any harmful activity intended to mislead users

Violation may result in immediate suspension without warning.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the QR data you generate.

By using the platform, you allow makeQReasy to store and process your QR data solely as required to operate features such as saving and analytics.

6. QR Functionality After Deletion

When account deletion is requested:

All dynamic QR codes connected to your dashboard will stop functioning because the routing and stored data associated with them will be removed. Static QR codes, however, will continue to work as they point directly to an external destination rather than relying on the makeQReasy platform.

QR codes created without logging in will also continue working, since they were never tied to an account and contain no stored data.

If you want a QR to stop functioning permanently, delete it before requesting account deletion.

7. Prohibited Technical Actions

You must not:

  • Reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate platform code
  • Use bots, scrapers, automation or excessive scanning
  • Attempt to bypass security systems
  • Overload, flood, or disrupt servers
  • Impersonate makeQReasy or another user

We may block or terminate access without notice if abuse is detected.

8. Service Availability

makeQReasy is provided as-is and as-available.

We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous uptime or uninterrupted access
  • Error-free or bug-free performance
  • Compatibility with all browsers or devices

We may improve, modify, restrict, or remove features at any time.

9. Feedback License

If you submit suggestions, feature ideas, or improvement feedback, you grant makeQReasy full rights to use them without credit, compensation, or obligation.

10. Limitation of Liability

makeQReasy is a tool — users are solely responsible for where QR codes link and how they are shared.

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of QR data or analytics
  • Business, revenue, or reputational damage
  • Malicious or incorrect links generated by users
  • Downtime, outages, or platform interruptions
  • External websites or content accessed through QR codes

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Beta & Experimental Features

Features labeled Beta, Pilot, or Experimental may change, break, or be removed at any time.

We provide no warranty over pre-release functionality.

12. Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate account access immediately if you violate these Terms.

Users may request full personal data & account deletion at:

Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by factors beyond our control, including:

  • Internet or DNS outages
  • Server or hosting failure
  • Cyber-attacks or service disruption
  • Natural disasters
  • Infrastructure or regulatory impact

14. No Joint Venture

Using makeQReasy does not create a partnership, employment, agency, or joint-venture relationship. The platform is an independent service used at user discretion.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update or revise these Terms at any time.

The latest version will always be posted here.

Continued use of makeQReasy means you accept updated Terms.

16. Governing Language

If translated, the English version of these Terms prevails in case of conflict.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Disputes will be resolved in Abu Dhabi courts.
